
Ingredients: Brinjal - 3 For grinding: onion - 1,tomatoes - 2,coconut - 4 tsp, jeera(cumin)-1/2tsp,Aniseed(saunf,fennel seeds) - 1/2 tsp,pepper according to yur taste. Chillie powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and optional (vatha kuzhambu powder),salt. For seasoning: 1)mustard 2)Fenugreek ,and 3) dry sunda vathal(optional), 4)curry leaves, 5)oinion and 6)garlic. and tamarind pulp a little. Method: In a pan add oil and season it with mustard ,fenugreek and Suda vathal,once splattered add curry leaves,onion and garlic,salt.once the onion is transparant add the brinjal and saute for 10 secs. Add the ground mixture. and allow to boil for 10 - 15 min,add the tamarind pulp to the mixture and let it boil for 2 - 5 sec and switch off the stove. Ready to eat with white and brown rice.
